Default 99 F250 V10

Just purchased a 99 f250, with 63,000 miles
three or 4 times while driving the engine has sputterd and died.
when this happens the check engine light comes on, but it does not stay on steady, it pulses at a very fast rate.
Also the overdrive light on the shifter will flash sometimes.
when I stop and turn the key off and start the pickup again there is no problem.
this happens so infrequeltly that it is hard to track down, the dealer tells me that there are not error codes.
it also seems to happen more in wet conditions.

On one occasion the truck did not die but it would not go forward but when I put it in reverse it run just fine
anyone have similar problems, or any suggestions as to where I may start.

The dealer has not been able to replicate the problem. so I need to give them so idea as to where to start looking.
since I just purchased the truck 1 week ago. they are still willing to fix the problem for free, but they can't find the problem.
