Default ABS Light 99 F-250 7.3L

My abs light has been on for about 2 years. I finally read a post on here about replacing the rear wheel speed sensor. So I tried that. The light sill stays on. When replacing the sensor, is there anything that I should of done other than just replace it? What should I look at next? I have read post about a front bearing. Other than jacking the truck up and turning the front wheel, is there any other indicator that the bearing might be bad? Thanks.

that's about the only way i know of to check a bearing. but i'd also check to make sure that the brake fluid level is correct, and also the float inside the brake fluid resovior may be stuck. if none of that works, maybe unplug the negative terminals on your batteries for about a minute to clear any trouble codes, and then see if the light comes back on. if it does, just cover it with electrical tape! sorry i can't offer more advice than that.
