compass calibration

Default compass calibration

I have a 2003 F250 I live in memphis tn so my zone is 8. Everytime i set the compass by the next day it is out again. I have tried using zone 7 and 9 with no luck. has anyone else had this problem and if so how and could it be fixed?

how are you recallibrating it? all you have to is drive around in circles until the compassreads. i am assuming that you are talking about the compass in your overhead console.

thats the one i have done everything drive in circles, slow fast figure eights, in a parking lot in a field everything off, different zones you name it i have tried it. it will calibrate and be good for a day and the next time i get in and drive it will be blank ans say cal?

I dont put stock in anything that overhead thingy reads...compass or miles you have untill you go empty.....The compass got me Lost and I ran out of gas..........
