I’m in fort benning and my truck is in Pennsylvania, I have a buddy working on it who I trust and I told him my dipstick tube is broke off from the the idiot who had it before it’s a 97f350 with a 351W it’s broke off a little above the block, I don’t know how to go about telling him to fix it because I don’t know if it’s pressed into the block or not. Any advice would be helpful so i could relay it on

 

First you need to see who has one. then once received , plans for removal of old tube can be made. Pretty sure it is pressed in to the ridge on the tube.
