Default Exhaust manifold studs

'05 F350 5.4 4x4

Am very pleased that I haven't broken a stud on passenger side manifold. 2 came out perfectly, 3 brought out the stud with it, but they are in great shape for a New England truck. (other 3 in the AM when its light out) Question is: Do I locktite these in into the block, what type locktite if I do, and any clue what torque value off the top of your head? i was thinking maybe 20-23 ft. lbs. since the nuts themselves are 18 ft. lbs.

9-10 ft-lbs on the studs torque, 18 is correct for the manifold nuts. Don't loctite the studs, use aluminium or copper anti-seize if you ever want to get them out again..
