Default F-250

I have a 2003 F-250. At exactly 1500 rpm it hesitates/bogs badly. Also, during this bogging, the dash lights come on and the tach and speedo needles jump up to the right sides of the gauges.IfI bring the rpms up past 1500, the problem clears up. No hesitation is noticed at any othe engine speed. Please Help!!

Default RE: F-250

I have a ford-f150, 2003, and it does the exact same thing. As far asit bogging down at 1500 rpm's I was told that the torque conv. for that year, has this problem quite often. So you can try to change the torq. conv. However I have not done that yet, let me know if you get it done before I do. With the needles jumping all over the place, that sounds like a different problem. You could try adjusting the throttle, that may work, or it sounds like you alternator could be messing up.
