Default F250 Fail to Crank

My problem is intermittent. I have a 2000 F250 Super Duty. Put key in wait for wait light to go out turn key nothing. All indicator lights on dash light up. No service engine light on.. Might work the following turn of the key might take five turns might work fifteen minutes later. Will not crank in park or neutral. Any suggestions?

I made sure neutral safety switch is tight and the pointers are aligned. Any way to jump out the neutral safety switch?

I'm not sure of the configuration of the plug that attaches the switch, but I've used such things like a metal paper clip, bent and inserted into the plug supplying power to the n/s switch in order to bypass and test it.
