Default Filters in the fuel tank.

As I posted before,I have a 01 F250 7.3L. Just wanted to add the I recently found out that there are fine mesh screen filters inside the fuel tank attached to the pick up assmb.
After spending 1500.00 to have the high pressure inj. pump replaced at a local deisel repair shop only to get in the truck after paying the bill and driving 20 miles to have it die again on the side of the road did I figure this out. The auto parts store only list one filter for this truck, the one on top of the engine. The Ford dealer parts dept dont know about the filters either. Anyway, found them clogged with trash. sence Ive had to drop the tank 3 more times to clean them out. Still trying to figure how it keeps getting in there. Maybe my teenager is rebeling? Still I think that is a really stupid place to put a filter.
