Default fuel filter

i have a 1993 f250 gas. I bought a new fuel filter because the one in there is wicked clogged and it stalls and sputters at stop signs and lights. I cant get the old one off and i was wondeering if there was a special trick to taking it off.

You need the special tool to remove the fuel lines, check auto parts stores they should have something.

They make a set of little rings that are plastic and fairly cheep you just place it over the line and push it into the fitting that is on the fuel filterthen just pull the filter out. There is a spring that is rapped around the inside of the fitting that holds the fitting on the filter and the little tool just expands the spring enought to pass over the ridge on the filter.
