Headlight switch replacement?

Default Headlight switch replacement?
I have my new headlight switch (for my 2000 F-250) & am wondering if I can install it myself? I've been told it takes 3 hrs to install & you must know how to de-energize your airbags or they will blow...just wondering if this is BS or should I take it to the dealer? (They have ripped me off in the past!)

You can do it yourself. It is not that hard to do.
