Default lift blocks

Hi I'm new to the forum, i have a 94 ford f-250 with a gasoline engine and i want to lift it but don't want to spend the money, im a college student kind of strapped for money and i was wondering if i could just use 3 or 4 inch lift block on all four leafs without it becoming unstable and advice will be much appreciated thank you.

I wouldn't use blocks for any substantial lift. You would just be adding additional leverage for the torque exerted by your axles allowing them to "wrap". That means that they will actually allow your axles to turn the housing putting extra stress on your u-joints and leaf springs. This is not a good thing. It is better to have the axle housing as close to the leaf spring as possible.Add-a-leaf kits are a better solution if you don't want to spend the money on a complete set of taller springs although it will stiffen your ride and you won't be able to get more than about 2-3 inches of lift.
