I have been in desperate need of a larger more powerful truck ever since we purchased a 30ft travel trailer. Therefore, for the first time ever, I am about to become a diesel truck owner. Due to financing and just being frugal, I have narrowed it down to 2 options and would very much appreciate some input...

Option #1: Black, 2013, fully loaded F-250 Lariat with FX4 package. Has brush guard, side steps, bed liner, roll away bed cover. Total mileage= 153K

Option #2: White, 2017, F-250 XL STX with FX4 package. Has no add-ons. Total mileage= 95K

Both have been cleared by a non-bias mechanic. Both are same price out the door. Which one would you buy if you were in my shoes?

What equipment does the 17 have? I’d lean towards the newer build, if not those, another truck..

 

Here's the link... Other than the STX appearance package and the FX4 off road package, the truck base. So basically, I'm trying to see which one makes more sense. The one that has all the amenities and is ready to rocka nd roll for towing my camper or the newer one with less miles.
