My 2000 has 113000 on it. 20/50 is working fine for me. I bought it used in Oct. Early on on cold starts it would tick for a few seconds. I think the preveious owner didn't take very good care of it. The oil was clean when I bought it, but it was getting dirty at about 1000 mi. After changing the oil at 1000 then 1500 and 2000 mi it stays clean through 3k now.
Back to the noise. It doesn't do that anymore either.
