Default Power Steering pump in and out play

I have a 2007 F-250 6.0 with 217,000 miles on it and my power steering pump has about 1/8" of in and out play on the pulley. The pump works fine, but with hydraulic boosted brakes, I really don't want it to fail. My luck I'd be going down a steep grade towing my camper. Is there a spec. about in and out play? Is my pump worn out and I need to replace it?

Thanks,

Frank

Thanks. I also saw that on an internet site. I'm glad I didn't delay my trip and spend money on trying to cure something that's normal.
