So I drive a 1995 F350 7.3L, when driving I am having an intermittent "pop" noise coming from under the hood. The Ford dealer says its most likely in the steering system. I'm just trying to narrow down the problems and replace te necesary parts. Little background on steering problems of the past. I had my pressure line literally blow itself out of the pump and I was forced to run the pump dry aa few miles until I was able to get off the road and safely park the truck. Since I replaced the hose and refilled the pump I hadn't had any problems until I went over a nasty dip and bounced the front end pretty hard. Then this noise started creeping up. It occurs randomly and different speeds and revs. Turn direction and sharpness don't seem to make much difference. Any insight anyone has to offer is greatly appreciated.
