Default Speedometer error after battery charge

I have a 2006 f350 deisel and I put on the battery charger the other morning and then jump started from another truck. Positive to positive, negative to negative. Now my speedometer starts at 30 mph at a dead stop and goes up from there. Everything else seems to be fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Default RE: Speedometer error after battery charge

I Have the same problem w/ the speedometer yet did not occur after battery charge or jump, just happened. It is variable, at times 30 mph reading at stop, at times normal. I have brought it to the dealer and it was normal then with no comuter errors. i left and it did it again, they said to bring it down when it happens again, and they will check it. This has happened before a few time and seemed to correct itself. I am concerned , does this have an efect on the odometer reading i.e. showing more miles than are truly on the truck. if i find out anything I will relay it on the forum.
