Stumped on NO START!
#11
Thanks for the feed back! Meaning what though… I could have a bad replacement injector #5 coil in addition to initial one being bad? 32 pin connector C1388c has 5 ground wires (BK/PK) & 4 power wires (DG/LG) which come from FICM Relay switched power… & 1 power wire from Relay - fused feed… lastly pin 7 (WH/BK) has power from start & run. When I ohm these out it they all come very close to .21 - .27 ohms. (assuming I’m doing it correctly) This is from 12 pin plug to 32 pin connector… Does that sound right… meaning wires are good & not the problem?
I’m confused about that now!

My apologies. I missed the part where you installed a new OEM injector. I always have to get the manual out to check the wire colors and pin numbers.
I think I have a wiring diagram for the FICM connectors and injector wires. Let me find it and post.

C1388B is the connector that "feeds" injector #5:
C1388B (X-2) Connector: Injector Control, Cyl. 2,3,5,8 (Middle plug)
Pin 1, TN/LG is the "open coil" ground
Pin 5, LB,BK is the "close coil ground
Pin 21, DB/OG is the "open coil" power
Pin 22, DG,LG is the "close coil" power

For injector #5 - it involves pins 1,5,21,22 on the FICM connector C1388b:
pin 1 on 1388b goes to pin 2 of the injector connector C1185
pin 5 on 1388b goes to pin 4 of the injector connector C1185
pin 21 on 1388b goes to pin 1 of the injector connector C1185
pin 22 on 1388b goes to pin 3 of the injector connector C1185
Additionally, since it is a contribution code, it may not even be electrical.
