Stupid Cheap Tailgate Bump Stops

Stupid Cheap Tailgate Bump Stops
This might be a Rant.
Why does my 2019 'F250 King Ranch Super Duty', have cheesy little plastic clips holding in the tailgate bump stops?? These L shaped rubber bump stops have both fallen out in the course of the year. I have only used my Truck for Light Duty so far. I found the first one on the garage floor, wasn't sure what fell off. I finally found out what it was. On both sides of the upper tailgate jam, there are these rubber stops. They are held in with the cheapest of plastic push clips into the frame hole. I put it back in with an adhesive silicone. The one way clips are not secure after the first removal. Now the other side has fallen out! Does anyone have this problem or a solution? New clips are all that is needed, but I guess I need to go to a dealer to get a match? The part numbers are HC3Z-99439A00-A and HC3Z-99439A00-B.
Thanks!
Found a solution on another Forum:
"I took out my taillights to gain access to the back side of the holes then just put a small bolt with washers in place of the push pins. Havent come out since!"

I've been complaining about the same thing, but i knock mine off, so the bolt fix really does not work for me. I was thinking maybe magnetics? I hold it with my finger now, which i need to be quick with so i dont get my fingers pinched. Wonder if i attach it to the tailgate?
So still looking for solutions ...... thanks all. Art
