Default Towing Procedures for F250 PowerStroke

Hey guys, never posted here before, but great reading, can really learn alot in here. Quick question. I am planning on towing a 1500lb boat/trailer. I have heard to use the tow/haul option in city only and not on highway. Should i run 65-70 with tow/haul or in OD. Appreciate the help. I am a new superduty owner and have not towed with it. Itchin' to see what this truck can do. Thanks for any input on the subject,

jeffery

just drive normal, the automatic tranny will do what it needs by itself. the best way to drive with a trailer on is to forget it's even there. and being only 1500 pounds, it'll be easy to forget about it. that truck shouldn't even know it's back there.

1500lbs, like stated above, don't do anything. The truck will not even notice it. Hell, my 4-cyl ranger barley notices it.
