Angry Unique Problem need help cam shaft codes

I have a 2006 Ford f250.

Well on my 250 I am having this odd unique problem I am hoping someone on here can help me figure out the solution. I know it must be simple.

So I have codes coming up saying that there is a problem with camshaft sensor bank 2. one says intermittent. We changed the cam shaft sensors and it still shows these codes. Now we played with the wiring by the camshaft sensor and the check engine light went off but then soon went back on. So we changed the pigtail of that sensor but that didn't solve the problem. We saw a video on how it might be a prong under the valve cover that a censor reads but we don't think that is true cause there is no way it could have been damaged cause we haven't be inside the engine. Doe this sound familiar to anyone? Any suggestions?

And so yeah also the truck drives great until I go to tow something. Then there is a loss of power ranging from a little bit to a whole lot.

The correct motor oil is critical for good phaser operation, the solenoid for the phaser oil control is very sensitive to quality and cleanliness of the motor oil. Might be a good idea to read up on some of this.
