Default Vacuum to breaks

Can someone help me figure out where to start to figure out why I'm not getting and Vacuum to my breaks!! I have vacuum coming from my intake manifold but from that I don't know. Any help would be great

It is important to know if your vehicle is gas or diesel powered . Depending on if it uses the power steering pump for hydroboost if that is what is on your vehicle.

Does your vehicle have a large size hose coming off the intake manifold going to the power brake booster?

Need to know these little bits of info in order to have some idea of what we are working with.
How about you provide the year, make, model and engine size too?
