What is it worth? 1997 F350

I dont think I have any authority on this subject but since no one else has responded.
Positives points - Double cab. Long bed. Based on the one picture good exterior condition.
Negative points - Rather high mileage. Over 20 years old so if modules have issues will be harder to buy replacement ones. Based on mileage and age anything rubber may break down soon(belts, suspension bushings, hoses, ect). Compared to recent trucks not great gas mileage. Compare what this can haul/tow vs a more recent trucks.
Honestly its impossible to give a good estimate on price due to location being so important, when I bought my truck I drove 4 hours away to a area where trucks sell for 3K to 4K cheaper then where I live.
Based on kelly blue book and craigslist for the my area it would be around $13000 at the highest but I would expect a great deal less simply due to the high miles, it it was closer to 100K miles it would be worth more. Also important if its 4x4 or not.

Transmissions are a big expense in the 7.3's of that age/mileage. So can be suspension and steering components, as well as air conditioning work.
In my opinion, if you can build a good case that the above mentioned components are solid, it might be worth $10k.
I have one like it (except close to 300k miles and is a super cab). Mine is also a 4x4 (I see your locking hubs) with mud terrain tires that are in nice shape.

Yeah, your probably right. Some 7.3's have some nice upgrades though. Mine has an upgraded turbo, Terminator HPOP, BTS transmission, new fuel pump, DP tuner, larger exhaust, all suspension and steering components replaced, brakes all rebuilt, etc. Makes it worth more to me anyway.....who knows what value others would place on it.
