Default WICKED SHAKES!!!

I have a 2006 F250 it has 26,000 miles on it. It is a crew cab short bed that is 4WD and the tires are stock. When ever I encounter any rough road conditions or any potholes the front end shakes so bad that it feels like it is coming apart. The steering wheel goes crazy in my hands and the truck feels like its about to loose control. This happens at all speeds. Its pretty dangerous and my Ford dealership as well as Ford "say" that they have never heard of this problem. I have also taken the truck in once and they couldnt figure out what was wrong. Anybody else have this problem or have any ideas for a solution to the WICKED SHAKES?

Tell the dealer to check the Tech Service Bullitens(TSB's). They have them for this problem with your truck. I had them check my 06 F350 for the same problem and they have a series of checks to make and then installed a steering stabilizer. All under warrant. I down loaded the TSB from this site and took it with me.

It's gonna be the steering stabilizer "shock".
Had it happen LOTS on all kinds of different brands/models.

Kinda scary the first time or two it happens, ain't it?

Ford makes a kit for that, it's a steering damper kit (3E651).
