Default Fuel coming out of the Air Intake box and snorkel

I have a 2006 Ford Five Hundred SEL 3.0 with just over 95,000. Recently I replaced the Fuel pump, Fuel Pressure sensor, Thermostat, Thermostat sensor, and fuel filter. I am still having issues with the car not wanting to start at all. When I went outside today to troubleshoot more I noticed a strong smell of gasoline coming from the engine. I was looking and looking but could not find it till I got near the air box. I opened It up and noticed the air filter was soak took that out and there was gasoline in the bottom of the air box. I removed the Air Box and Snorkel from the car and inspected it along with the throttle body I did not notice any gasoline on the throttle body but when I turned the air box and snorkel over gasoline poured out of it. It was coming from that box that hangs below the snorkel itself. Any Idea what I should be looking for extra? It would be a great help

What you saw today could be a result and caused by the parts you replaced recently and crank no start could be another issue. All the parts you changed recently you have to make sure they were replaced correctly, you just have to go back and double check.

I would suspect a cam timing problem where the intake valves are open when they should not be

I have gone over the steps that everyone has suggested, I went through the work I have done, and I recently changed the throttle body out knowing that those were recalled years back and even had problems. The car did not want to start then, so I let it sit for a few days went out it fired up right away on the first try but it was running super rough, and blowing black smoke out the tailpipe. I am at a loss of what it could be as several codes were thrown.P0182, P2196, P2198 P0183, P0193, P0302, P0316, P1000, P0106.

My first suggestion would be to, disable the fuel pump, and run a compression test. If there is any type valve problem, it will show there. We need to know where we stand with the mechanical parts of the engine. If you can get that done , provide the readings and we can go from there..

Any other way is MORE shooting in the dark and is not smart. Can you do this ?

I ran a compression test after disconnecting the fuel pump from the car, and across all 6 cylinders is 90 PSI

When you removed the plugs to do the test , were the plugs wet or dry ?

hen you did the compression test did you have the throttle blocked wide open so it could get all the air it could get ?

90 lbs is not a great reading.. I still suspect a cam timing problem.
