Default 2001 ZX3 Intermittent Turn Signal Failure

I have an intermittent problem with the turn signals on my 2001 ZX3.

I find that the turn signal fails at least once on most journeys that I make - often only after I have been driving 20mins +. When the signals fail, they just fail completely - no repeater light or sounds inside the car, and no light on the front or back of the vehicle.

If I keep driving it soemtimes starts working again - I just don't know until I hit the switch!

When it does fail, if I stop and restart the car the problem goes away.

Appreciate any help or suggestions. My garage can't reproduce the failure, so they say that there is nothing they can do!!

Could be a power distribution problem on out to the multifunction switch, or the flasher unit.. Or either component could be failing.. Check fuse F33/15 amp(flasher unit) and F59/7.5 amp (multi function switch) in the CJB (central junction box) if possible when the lights stop working during an intermittent.. Check for current 'through' the fuses.. Do the Hazard flashers quit working as well when the turns fail? and do the turn 'arrows' not illuminate when the turns aren't working?

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm having exactly the same trouble.

Question Turn signals don't work sometimes

I am having the exact same problem in my 98 Expedition---This only started happening recently. I am beginning to notice a pattern that they always seem to work when I start out, but if I use the air conditioner or panel air, the signals stop working. I have also discovered that there has been a slow drip of what seems like condensation falling from under the glove compartment in the front passenger area. Could the wires for the turn signals be getting wet from the condensation and failing?
