Default Help with a 2000mani+65mm

Hello i am new to this forum and i start with a hard one. I just installed a ported 2000 mani and a 65mm tb. Problem is that its idling at 4k. I check for vac leaks visually and i will try the starter fluid trick. I messed with th tps and no luck. The egr valve is not hooked up so could it be that? I really don't see how but I am not a tek. Could someone help me plz????? thx

The first thing I would check is the screw near where the cables are hooked up to. It could be keeping the valve from closing all the way. If that screw is screwed in too far, your going to constantly have a high rpm. Now i'm not sure what kind of TB you bought, but you may want to try turning the tps sensor 180 degrees. That might work also. Sometimes new TB's will stick open a little. BE CAREFUL when you do this, but try putting a SMALL amount of grease on the outside and inside of TB where that post goes straight through it. Open it and close it a bunch of times and then wipe the excess grease off before you install it again.
