I got a V8 mustang motor here and want to put it in my focus 2000. I want to remove my V4 motor and put the V8 motor in but wondering who did this?? I want to know detail of the project so I can get tools ready.

You could do it but you will have to cut up the car, you will have to move back the firewall and make room for the tranny and drive shaft to the rear of the car and put a rear axle in it.

Unless you have MAJOR fabrication experience and equipment ( not to mention time and $$$ ).....
FUGGEDABOUDIT!
.
May I suggest something to do with the 5.0 -
Find and old Volvo 740 sedan or wagon to put it in.
Do an internet search for "Volvo V8". There's a company that makes a conversion kit to do this, and it's fairly easy I've heard.
.
OK - Here's some linkies......

I understand that you have the v-8 already, but you may want to look into possibly swapping someone for one of the older tarus sho engines, they fit quite well with a-lot less fabrication.
