Default A few issues

Hello. I enjoy offering Ford support to Ford owners. I am actually an active member on MANY tech forums. This place is pretty slow for responses on tech help, but that can happen with a fairly new forum like this one. There are a few things that make me less active here that should be looked into.....................

Flood control sucks and if I reply too fast and the warning comes up, I do not re-type my reply and move on.

After clicking the "Submit Reply" button after posting, the page freezes up for up to 2 minutes sometimes. If it takes too long, I move on to another site. This has been happening quite often lately.

Ads are EVERYWHERE on these pages and really slow the forums down! I understand that ads pay for stuff, but there is enough ads here to buy a new house!

There are a couple other things I can't think of right now, but those are my issues.

while many people do not believe me, the banners do not effect the speed of this site...they are not hosted on this site. what does slow the site down is the TSB section, which is helpful, but alot of people hotlink it..

i will remove the flood control, or at least make it a smaller period of time, and i will check into the timing out issues.

The timeout issue is still frustrating me. This is not my PC since I am replying from my work PC now. I tried to reply to 2 topics and after I submit, it froze both times.
