I have a 99 F-150. recently i started my truck and it blew the spark plug out of the engine.Of course that caused the service engine light to come on.Had it taken to a auto machine shop and got that fixed. the mechanic said he tried to reset the service engine light but his computer wasnt reading any codes so he couldnt reset it.I have to pick my truck up tomorow at the garage im going to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and see if that works dont know if he tried that already or not u would think he would.Is there any other way to reset the service engine light?
