Can someone point me in the direction of the blend door on a 2004 Freestar? I have my wife's van completely torn apart and all I see is more black plastic. I'm to the point I don't think I can pull anymore out. I expected to see the blend door at this point. We have cooling to the rear ac but not to the front so this is where I started. If anyone could give me direction or post a pic of what I should be looking for it would be helpful. I can see where these insane estimates come from when asking a dealer to fix this issue. WOW, this thing is not fun. Thanks for the help in advance.

 

The Freestar is essentially the same as a Windstar. In the Windstar you find the blend door actuator in the space behind the radio. Search for an image of the blend door actuator so you know how that black box looks like.
