I need to replace the drivers side mirror, and I am having difficulties getting off the door panel to remove the cable. Any suggestions? I have one screw removed from the back by the latch and 2 screws from the bottom. Other than that I cannot find any other screws or nuts to remove and i cant tell exactly how the clips work on this panel if there are any. Thanks for any help.

Do you need to remove the whole mirror assembly or just the mirrored glass? If the mirrored glass only, then the mirrored glass is removed by operating the mirror all the way to the down position. Then you pull out on the top of the mirror and the plastic clip should release. Then you pop off the two lower clips. The clips are mounted to the glass mirror.
