Had the same problem you all are talking about. Took it to the dealer who told me that it was an air filter that was too thick, causing an air leak (I must have been wearing my sucker cap that day). I drove it home and it did it again. Researched and found out about the throttle body problems. Took it back and told them what I had found, and when I picked it up, they said it was indeed the throttle body. They didn't have one to replace it with so they took mine off, and cleaned it real good. Works great now.

 

buenas tardes comunidad les pido su colaboración y gran ayuda para el problema de mi ford explorer 4.0 2005 se me presento el codigo p2106 el cual me refiere al actuador de la mariposa del cuerpo de aceleracion ya cambien el tps el cuerpo de aceleracion y la falla continua la falla es que a las 40 millas el motor de manda MOTOR MODO SEGURIDAD y pierde potencia ya le cambien como mencione antes cuerpo de aceleracion y tps ya llevo un muy rato con la falla y nadie la a podido solucionar estoy que no duermo por favor auxilio
