2015 Fusion Hybrid issues
Hello all, I have a 15 Fusion Hybrid with 170kmi. On my way to work this morn I was getting on the highway and the car started to jerk accelerating. I turned around and started back toward home. Everything seemed fine after driving a few min. So I turned around again and went to work (about 45mi). Everything was fine. When I parked the car and turned off the key the interior lights did not come on as they usually do. And the dash started flickering. I turned the key on again. Everything turned on. My hybrid battery showed totally full which I thought was odd. Turned the key off and no interior lights again. Just the light around the heat-AC control. No warning lights on dash. Anyone see anything like this before?

I just went out and tried again. With key in accessory it says turn system off to save battery. Possibly battery is about shot? It is the original. 6 years old now. I suppose with the hybrid it's harder to tell when it's on the way out. I'll get it tested and probably just replace after work.

Replacing the battery is a good place to start, a bad battery can cause many many strange faults to occur. Most batteries last around 5 years. FYI your battery is in the trunk, I believe its on the left side, you will need to remove the large side fabric portion in the trunk to remove the battery.
