Shifter Light

Shifter Light
Hi All,
Which fuse in the passenger compartment breaker box controls the light for the automatic gear shifter light on a 06 SEL Fusion?
The light does not work and I'm hoping it is just the fuse.
Also, after the parking or head lamps are turned on, the analog dash clock does not light until it is tapped once to get it turned on. Loose bulb or wire? Reasonably easy fix or isit a disaster to get behind the clock?
thanks in advance

RE: Shifter Light
Hi, for your shifter lightning problemI couldn't get the exact fuse, I can find it if you really need it, but i doubt it's a fuse problem because most of the interior lightning (headlight switch lightning, trunk switch, clock) is on the same circuit. If I was in your situation I would access the connector at the shifter assembly and check if you have voltage at the wire for the lights.
For your clock problem, I would remove the instrument panel finish trim and check for loose wires in the clock connector and check if you have voltage at the wire, if you have the clock only comes on when you tap it, it's most likely the clock assembly which is faulty.
