RE: Who Would Win?
They are, but the turbo lags, it would be better if it was twin turbo or straight up supercharged. And i researched all the stats and it says the Jetta will get from 0 to 60 in 7.9 sec ( www.cars.com) and on magazines, websites, and my friend timing me i get 0 to 60 in my mustang gt in 6.8 sec

True, very true. But usually if the small car comes with a turbo stock, it isn't going to be running in the Indy 500 anytime soon. What would you call a Jetta since it's German made, anyway? A krauter? A sausager?

I have driven a Jetta GLI 1.8T 5 speed and no turbo lag stock, a WRX 2.0 5 speed has bad turbo lag stock. thats why I said that the Jetta would be fast. My Mustang has the same hp as yours that is why I feel that the Jetta would win, now if you had a 99+ Mustang then the Mustang would win.
