I have a 1994 4x4 supercab ranger. I used the 4x4 low to pull a trailer a short distance. I took it out of low and started to take out of hi. The light on the dash would not go out. Its not in 4x4,but the light is still on. I have lockouts and push button 4x4 on dash. I hope some one can help me.

 

Transfer case motor may have seized.

 

those push buttons on dash are noting but propblems thts probably where your problem is
