Default 2003 Ranger Blower motor Inop

No Power to Motor. Checked both fuses and there ok. Checked blower resistor and found it had been repaired prior, Unwrapped the electrical tape and a couple wires fell off. I bought a new resistor and pigtail connector but need to know what color wires go where! I'm still puzzled why there is no power at motor. This started when a friend turned off fan switch kind of fast. does main power go thru switch? also checked power at relay, ok. swaped relays also.

Thanks Hanky, Do you know where to get a Schematic without having to download a Service manual? Before the wires fell off the resistor I didn't have power to motor and with out knowing what color wire goes where on the resistor I don't want plug in and toast something. As far the relay, I just checked with test light (digital) but don't know what terminals to check for switch feed. I have not got to removing switch yet.

Wires should go as follows,
looking at the resistor body where the plug goes in.
Left to right
pin 1 next pin 2 then top right is pin 3 then bottom right is pin 4

pin 1 = Lt Grn/white

pin 2 = Org/blk

pin 3 = black (grd)

pin 4 = Yel/red

Ford does it a little differently whereas they supply power to the motor constantly and vary the ground via the switch and resistor.
