What are you getting? I have gotten from 23 to 13.5 in my '02 3.0L Ranger Edge 2x4. 23mpg was obtained by running 50% back county roads at 55 to 60 with almost no stops and staying under 70 the other 50% on the highway (spent a month 45 days commuting 130 miles round trip for work this summer with little traffic at the worst). If you drive 70+ mph you will not tend to get much over 21, as any amount of incline will cause the trans to drop into 4 or 3rd. Also stop and go (ie 50/60mph to 20 to 50) with any amount of gas that would make the truck accelerate faster than a 20 ton train will pull gas milage do to 15/16 and during the winter it like to drop to 13.5 for the stop and go city stuff.

Okay converted Miles to KM and Gallons to Liters and the milage I have gotten is a high of 9.7 Km/Liter and a low of 5.7 Km/Liter. You stated 340km or 210miles on a tank..........whats a tank???? Did you fill it with 37 liters or more like 50. 37 liters would be about 8.88 Km/L or 21mpg which isgood. If you put 65 liters you would get 5.2 Km/L or 12.3mpg which is not out of range but it is not good.

Yes we put 60L in to the tank and it was almost empty so I guess tank holds 65L?

So i drove 340km with 65L in the tank that's 19L per 100km seems insane when my Dakota also V6 does almost double that.

Stop and go and rpms over 2700-3000 kill the mileage with the 3.0. Best mileage seems to be when running around 2200-2300 rpm???? We burn all this gas and still NO power............ [:@]
