Default 88 ranger front brake "clicking"

I have a click click sound as I go down the road. If I lightly apply the brake it stops. I have replaced the caliper retaining pins, but that did not stop it. Is there any other springs or clips that would help? Is the caliper worn out or what. I have not had the front end checked out by a shop yet but all seems to be tight. Any suggestiosn?

Thanks

my truck did that when i first got it. i thought it was the brakes too and it wasnt it was some stupid *** bearing (spelling??!!) that was going out. i would go in and have your brakes looked at for the simple fact that its something that your *** needs to stop litterally. anyways you could just call the dealer and explain the problem and maybe the could help. maybe your just draggin a pad or something. or maybe your rotars are warped.

I've had the very same problem. You are probably missing the brake pad anti-rattle clip on the outer pad.

I agree, with anti rattle clip, but it goes on lower inside pad to keep it firm in pad bracket.
