Looking to buy a 94 splash, 4cyl 5spd. It has 106k on it. It's a nice looking truck- but, there's a problem. It doesn't want to run.
It's getting 45 psi of fuel pressure to the fuel rail but the injectors aren't working. It has new injectors, new fuel pump in the tank, new ecu, new safety switch that cuts off the pump after a collision etc...

It's a nice looking truck. The guy is asking 1500 for it. Any ideas??

who checked the injectors?

 

i would go ahead and buy it because you can find a new motor for 340-500 thats used and in good condition

 

that is really odd...... the only thing that i can think of that there is something in the injectors themselves that is making them not work. otherwise i really dont have a clue.

 

did u take a look at the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel filter?

 

jdm, could you tell me where the fuel filter is located on the 1996 Ranger 2.3L 5 speed standard transmission?
