Default Aftermarket coolant to use?

Brought 2004 Ranger, 2.3L, 4 cyln., 2 WD, couple weeks ago. In the process of replacing all fluids, filters andspark plugs. Not sure what coolant to use. The manual say to use Motorcraft premium gold coolant only. Is there a equivalent aftermarket coolant that is OK to use?

Ford Dealer is about 8 miles away. There are several auto parts store about 1 mile where I live. Seldom in that part of town, just want to minimize driving.
