Default Aftermarket Tachometer Installation / Hookup 2001 3.0 Liter v6 Ford Ranger (How to?Green Tach Wire?)

Hello all, this is my first post on this forum (I just bought my first Ford Truck today :-) )

Anyways,
I have a 2001 model 3.0V6, there is no factory tach.

I have an Autometer tachometer (That I have had installed on just about every vehicle I have owned, swapped back and forth) but I do not know enough about these ford's to know where to hook the 'Green tach wire' , the 'signal wire' ...

I have searched this forum (Ranger section) but I only found a post about swapping the 'entire cluster with a stock tach model' ... Nothing about wiring a new one ...

So my question is,
Where do I install the green signal wire to ? Would it go somewhere on the ECM/ECU negative wire, or is there a factory wire I can use ? If so, where are they located ?

Thank you !
I will be around in the future to help out when I can.
