Count out the lamp flashes..

It'll count out an LFC (light flash code) into a series of flashes.. Like 2 flashes, 'pause' and 5 more for a code 25.. Since you disconnected the passenger switch, when you start the truck, look at the PAD switch lamp (passenger air deactivation) and the PAD lamp should be 'on' along with the SRS lamp in the instument panel as the system proves out during the startup..

I know on the mistang if the power source for the Airbag system is off for more than 30 min it will give a code off saying that it had lost power. Have to ahve it cleared. Not sure how it is done on the rangers. on a mustang you had to short out a connector on the passengers side.
