Default Air Bag Light

I've been ferrying my grandson around alot and have the Passenger airbag turned off...the other day I went for a ride with a grownup in the passenger seat and turn the airbag back on...then the Airbag light came on and blinks 4 times then 6 or 7 times then repeats is there something major going on or is this just a temp glitch?

Default RE: Air Bag Light

If you count the LFC (lamp flash code) correct, might want to recheck, then the code is for 'either' the driver side (LFC 46) or the passenger side (LFC 47) seat belt pretensioners or possibly (unlikely though) both if you count a fault code of 46 'and' 47..The LFC codes are prioritized, and if two or more faults exist theywill be displayed in the highest priority first..Check the pretentioner connector and pins for 'clean and tight' connections and/or any visable indication of a poor contact and corrosion.. The fault indication is for high/low circuit resistancethough tothe belt pretensioners..
