Where is the Air Intake Temp. Sensore (IAT) on a 04 Ranger XLT V6 4.0 Pictures help A lot

Its usally in the air snorkle between the filter and the throttle body section. Some of them are incorperated in the mass air flow sensor also.

i have a 1993 ranger and mine was in the airfilter box. unscrew the screws and take the lid anf air filter out and it was in there on the right side.


I hope you didnt buy one ot thoes so called chips from e bay that you plug into your AIT sensor ive read a lot of reviews from another ford site that they only work for a few days then the computer adjusts. and overall its not good for your engine.
