i have a 99 ranger 4 cyl and im gettin the k&n cold air intake but how does the stock air box come out or does it?

Is your's mounted on the fender well ? Mine is I have a 3.0 tho it has 2 nut's on the bottom of the wheel well wich hold the whole case.

Mine is mounted on the fender and it has like two bolts to take it off.

Probly just a few bolts to pop off and its off. Simple i'm sure.

I have an '03 so this may not help, but my airbox was held in with two rubber grommets. They just pull out.
