Default Engine Block Heater on 01 Ranger...

I live in Arkansas where it can get to single digets
I'm looking into a engine block heater...
I found one that is a magnet that attaches to my oil pan and one that is a replacement dip stick ... which one would be better ?
I have heard that a coolent warmer is better and a battery warmer is great too...suggestions ???

I dont know about the magnet cause some ranger's have non metal oil pan's so I would go with the dip stick.

Coolant warmer is a must have for those living in a place like yours. It eliminates possible cold starts as well as related wear and emissions. A good product should be able to stores 3 liters of coolant( at near boiling point) for a maximum of 3 days. I would recommend a battery warmer that is blanket-type.
