Is there a replacement fuel filter with a built in check valve ??

I'm having pressure bleed off on sitting, which causes hard starting, and I am trying to sort what is bad. I found where I can clamp the fuel return hose shut to eliminate the pressure regulator. I haven't found a similar place to clamp a hose shut on the pressure side so as to sort pump vs injectors. If there is an aftermarket filter with a built in check valve it seems this would both allow bad pump determination and provide a temporary fix.

If you're having fuel pressure bleeding off, then you either have a bad fuel pressure regulator or you have injector(s) bleeding which normally can be cured by a good cleaning. I would start with injector cleaning to see if that cures your problem.
