Default Jet Chip

Has anyone installed a Jet Chip in their Ranger? I'm trying to get a feel for how much added performance I can get and if it's worth the money to buy one. I've already installed a new performance exhaust, throttle body spacer, and cold air induction. I've got a 98 2.5L. Any info would be appreciated.

the jet-chips are decent, but if you are looking for the best available for a ranger, look into http://www.bamachips.com/products/ You will not find a better performing programmer out there. Chips will not work in most rangers due to the fact that the port on the computer is disabled. A programmer is a much better choice and is not detectable, once you remove the program, if you happen to have the need to take your vehicle in for service.
