Default Looking to mod.

Hello all,

I've got a 93' Ranger regular cab 4WD truck and I'm looking for some things to do to it. If anyone is willing to share some knowledge on some of the best places to find ideas of what to do it would be very helpful. I think I just want to lift it a little bit and maybe put a 302 into it. Just not sure what transmission and T-case would work the best as well as a good drive line to use. Or even let me know what others have done and where to find parts or kits. Thank you to whoever is able to help me in my search.

Laterz,

That looks pretty good. Where did you get the Lift from? What do you have for Engine, Trans, T-case, and driveline? Body looks good on that truck. My truck is almost always covered in mud. It looks strange when it's clean.

I got the lift from a local 4wd shop for around 500, its a superlift suspension system. I have the 4.0L V6 and a manual trans, with the sorry a_s pushbutton for 4wd, Im still running stock 3.73 gear(planning on changing that soon though). I also plan on adding manual locking hubs(I have had to replace the factory hubs twice, thank god for junkyards). I got the truck when I was in High school, It was used when I bought it in 96. I put the truck through hell every weekend. The thing wont die. I had it repainted last year. This guy hit my passenger side and then took off, I talked the body shop into painting the whole truck. I had to pay a little extra for it but I feel they gave me a good deal.

if you really want 302 find a late ninety's( up to 99) explorer all wheel drive that has been rolled over...they had a 302 and all the mounts and radiator andcomputer andsuch that you will need but they use an all wheel drive system so no help for the transfer case problem
